The Canada Post Strike - The Impacts

The Canada Post strike is having a major impact on small businesses, and we are no exception.

Despite an announcement of a partial resumption of service, we are maintaining our decision not to resume untracked deliveries for the time being. We will monitor any delays and adjust accordingly as the conflict evolves.

We love offering envelope delivery as it's a cost-effective solution, ideal for small orders. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing dispute, we have removed this option from our website for now.

Tracked Delivery by Purolator

We already work with Purolator for many of our tracked shipments. We have therefore chosen this delivery option for the time being.

To help you, we have reduced our delivery cost to $9.99.

At this price, you should understand that we are paying an amount on our part, as delivery fees and fuel surcharges are often much higher than the price we charge you. It's still important for us to offer you affordable delivery for your purchases.

Expected Delays

We experienced this last year: when the postal service resumes, we should expect widespread delays in shipments. Depending on the date regular mail resumes, we will make decisions regarding the gradual return of this option, taking into account time constraints.

The Impact on PiCO

PiCO is a wonderful company. We're fortunate to have great customers, who are part of our success.

However, we won't hide the fact that last year's strike took its toll. For our company, October, November, and December are usually our best months of the year. When orders are slow, it's felt in the numbers... and it impacts our choices for upcoming collections and new product launches.

The new strike comes at another time of year when we have plenty of beautiful themed products for you. This brings us new challenges, and we appreciate you taking the time to continue shopping with us.

If you want free shipping, we offer it for orders over $75. Order with your friends or colleagues to reach your total faster. You can also order in larger quantities to stock up, or plan ahead for upcoming events and pre-order for holidays like Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter, or birthdays.

We take the time to add a small gift to every shipment, with a coloring page and a scratch-off code for a future purchase. It's our way of saying thank you.
